The Easter bunny visited our house this morning! He brought lots of fun treats to celebrate that He is risen.
I loved having my Jase home and tried to savor it all day. Little bubba here knows how to open the babygate upstairs now and he snuck down there while I was in the shower and Jase was still asleep this morning. Totally ruined my photo opportunity! Ha! I came down from that little fit and had a wonderful day with family and friends.
We had a delicious champagne brunch at the Officers Club on base with our good friend Jess and her girls. Her husband is underway so it was just her and the girls.
We came home and both kids took naps while Jase and I talked to family on the phone. Then the Easter bunny showed up at our playground and hid a bunch of eggs for the kids! Harlon was so into it, he got 19 eggs. We titled him "master egg hunter." Addie Mae got 1 egg, HA! She could have cared less. Once she saw the playground she took off as fast as her little legs can carry her.
I was laughing so hard at the real hard boiled, dyed eggs that Harlon and I colored. I made Jase hide those along with candy filled ones like we always used to do as a kid. It was so gross! It was warm enough out that they never fully dried and were all wet with condensation. Harlon had die all over his shirt. It was hilarious. Now I just need my brother to eat all those eggs.
There is Addie Mae with her ONE egg.
Checking out their treasures or getting ready to put the bucket on her head, not sure which.
Cheeeeeeese! Happy Easter!
3 out of 4 smiling at the camera ain't bad.
