Not sure about this one...I think he wanted a cracker but had sand all over his hands so he wanted us to put a cracker in his mouth. Ha! He's a hoot. Anyway, Jase was home for just over a week and once again we were weekend warriors! Between him being gone and home again for a quick visit I have gotten way behind on my blogging. We spent the better part of this day at one of our favorite beaches on the north shore. The surf is starting to pick up for surf season but we were able to all play in the ocean one more time before winter. It was a perfect day with my beloved little family.
Our sweet Addie Mae. I know I say that a lot but seriously she is the sweetest thing. She just melts me. And you should see her Daddy with her. He is just a mess, there are no other words to describe it. I LOVE them together. Also, this is a toddler sized hat on my girls head! Ha! All of my family members will be happy to know that she has our head. :) Be ready to try too small hats on her at Christmas and laugh until you cry, CHIPS?
We put her in her floaty thing in the water. She fell asleep several times with the rocking of the ocean only to wake up when her face fell in the water. It was so cute. I took her up and she fell asleep like this. Pure momma bliss. It took the soothing qualities of the beach to get her to do this. She is usually little miss independent. I loved every second of it.
And Harlon is no longer afraid of the ocean! Hooray! I will pray that it lasts as we don't go to the beach much when Jase is away. He really thought he was surfing, it was priceless. Jase told him that this beach is where all the big waves are. He thought that was the coolest.
