During the diving extraveganza my sweet girl was deep in concentration playing with her toys. Isn't she the sweetest thing? I realize EVERYONE feels that their children are the sweetest but mine really are the sweetest. I think there are a few Nannys, Papas, Bopas, Aunties and Uncles that would agree with me on this one. :)
I LOVE her eyes.
She can never grow up....never, never, never.
Do you see that people? IT'S HAIR! Slowly but surely it is coming in. It is very light, sometimes it looks strawberry and sometimes blonde and sometimes a bit of both. It seems to have a little curl to it, YIPPEE!
After diving and dinner we went on a little walk/bike ride down by the water. We are lucky enough to live right on the water so we LOVE our peaceful evening walks as the sun is going down. It is heaven sent I tell you.
And this lil' man can never grow up either...never, never, never. He tests me so much and I am learning so much about life and myself from this little guy and I love him with all my heart. I love him so much it hurts. And yes, those are Crocs on his feet. I said I would never let my children wear those goofy things. Now you can laugh at me. So, he wears flip flops all the time except to school where he wears tennis shoes. When he is playing at home and around the neighborhood he ends up barefoot because he can't run in his flip flops. ALL of the kids in the neighborhood wear Crocs to which I made a great deal of fun. This is becoming a long story. Well, I have been having a lot of foot pain and Crocs were recommended to me. I got some and have been wearing them around the house. My feet are feeling much much better, really. Harlon thought my Crocs were the coolest things he as ever seen and the first time he saw them he said, I want some in YELLOW! I laughed so hard and eventually (when Jase was out to sea) I treated him to a pair. I even got him a few charm things (is that what you call them) to put on them. The child is in love with his Crocs.
He just tears it up on this big wheel. He is usually way ahead of Addie Mae and me in the stroller unless he is stopping to pick up rocks.
There's our smiling girl! In the picture we are parked right up above a boat ramp. Harlon likes to throw things in the water. He sees a coconut sitting on the ground and wants to throw it in. We take off toward the end of the ramp to throw it when I see it getting slippery. I speed up to stop Harlon so he doesn't slip and fall when I slip and fall right on my knee. Yeah, not a fun fall for a 6ft tall girl who is packing a few extra pounds. My knee is currently swollen right below the knee cap to about the size of an egg. It hurts like a mother. I think I am okay, I am currently icing and taking Motrin. The next week or so should be fun. But...it really was a splendid day.
