Lazy Sunday

We went to church on Sunday. It was SO nice to be in church and the service was pretty good. We dropped Harlon off in the nursery and he had a great time. I set him down, he spotted toys, made some truck noises and didn't even look back at Jase or me once. Should that make me feel sad, because it doesn't! I am so thrilled that my son is able to enjoy other people and places so far. Maybe he will have the stranger danger phase later than most, or not at all. We will probably try one or two more before we commit to a church home here. After that we came home, I made a big breakfast, Harlon took a LONG nap and Jase and I lounged around talking about what we wanted to do on our lazy Sunday afternoon. We decided to head up to the North Shore. We both love it up there so much and it's still big wave season. As we drove along the water there was tons of people either sitting in the back of trucks in lawn chairs or on the beach just watching the waves crash the shore. The sun was setting and it was so beautiful and peaceful, it just makes you feel good. Time will tell but we think we are really going to enjoy our years here.
