I've been having some annoying computer problems leading to my lack of posts lately. I think I have it fixed but we'll see.
Harlon is officially a walker! I didn't feel like I could say that until he was steady enough on his feet to prefer walking over crawling. This was our 2nd week of Kindermusik and he had so much more fun than the 1st. There is only 1 non-walker and she is only 9 months old. Harlon was kind of frustrated last week because he couldn't really keep up.
Harlon and I have a good little schedule worked out. It makes military life much more tolerable when you're busy. I've started Stroller Strides class 2 mornings a week. It is a running, walking, strength training, total body workout. It's really intense and just what I need. Harlon does pretty well in the stroller during class but is ready to get out and play at the end.
One morning a week we have Kindermusik, and swim lessons one evening. That gives us one day a week free just to stay home or for a playdate and weekends free for daddy time when he's home or get togethers with friends and church. I'm still looking for a church. We will try another this week.
Jase only had to work part of a day on Monday for MLK Day so we headed up to the North Shore (again) and had a relaxing afternoon watching the waves and playing in the sand.
Other than walking Harlon gets more and more personality everyday. He loves everything trucks, cars, motorcycles, and airplanes, and dogs.
He's been saying and waving "bye-bye" on his own accord now for a few weeks. Other than his molars moving on down (they still haven't cut through the gums), and learning that he can't have EVERYTHING he wants, he's a happy busy guy.
