My boy is not much into hiking. I can say for certain that he is a beach kid all the way.
Daddy and her girl. She was pretty content in the pack today. Usually she hates it, especially when I am carrying her. Jase sang her to sleep at one point, it was pretty darn sweet.
This was such lush forrest to hike. Very buggy and unfortunately (or fortunately for the bugs) I forgot the bug spray. The bugs had a field day with us.
My sweet family, I love them. We always scale down our adventures when Jase is away. We all really enjoyed our last one for a while.
Daddy and Addie Mae took the lead. I hung back with my boy who asked me if we could go home 800 times, and told me how scary the forrest is 900 times. Ha! I tried to convince him that we were explorers (as I do everytime we hike) but he didn't go for it.
We ended our last day together grilling steaks and watching the kids play with friends in the neighborhood. Great weekend!
