New Ride

Bopa and Nanny were so nice to get a scooter for Harlon.  Most of the neighborhood kids have either one of those razor scooter or the little kids have a 3 wheeled version of a razor.  And of course, Harlon wanted a helmet since all of the other kids wear one.
I love this picture.  Such concentration!  He takes riding this scooter so seriously.  It's precious!  He's such a big boy, it makes me cry.
Harlon watched the neighbor boys dad show him how to ride his scooter and now he makes sure he does his leg just right.  Ha!
He played so hard yesterday.  He was BEAT by the end of the day and did NOT want to come in.  I believe there was a fit involved.  :)
First thing this morning, he comes down the stairs and spots his scooter on the lanai.  He says to me "OH Momma, my scooter (or cooter as he says it)!"
And of course we have to get all the gear on before we ride.  The elbow and knee pads, gloves, and helmet (which is usally all g-wad on his head).  It's hilarious!  The first time he put on all of the gear, he stretches out his arms and shouts "I'm Lightening McQueen, I'm reawwy reawwy fast!"
