5 Months

I seriously cannot believe our baby girl is 5 months old already!  Her personality is really coming out now.  She is such a sweet, smiling baby.  My parents are here right now and Addie Mae LOVES her Nanny and Bopa.  I was a little nervous as she has been a big mommas girl lately, but she had no problem. 

 Addie Mae did SO many new things last month I am hoping she will slow down this month.  She is on the verge of sitting up though.  She is starting to be better about letting me rock her to sleep.  She likes to "talk" to me while she is falling asleep.  It's pretty cute, I would love to know how her little mind works.  She is loving her exersaucer and jumperoo.  Anytime we lay her down on the floor she rolls and rolls.  I have started giving her solid food the last week or so.  I started her with rice cereal and bananas.  She is taking to it really well.  I just made a batch of sweet potatoes for her to try next. 

After I figured her out, she is turning out to be great napper.  She is taking 2 naps a day, 1-2 hours each and then a little cat nap in the evening.  She sleeps 5-6 hours at night, wakes to eat and sleeps 2-4 more.  She is still drooling like crazy and chewing on her hands, those teeth are moving down.  Just like Harlon she will only chew on her hands.  Addie Mae love her baths too.  She is also so aware of everything going on around her.  I am amazed at how she tracks the room.  She LOVES her big brother!  We love our baby girl more than words can say.  I am so happy that the kids can spend some more time with my parents.
