Addie Mae is 4 months old today! We celebrated by taking her to the doctor for her well baby check-up, HA! She was such a good girl even when we had to wait 20 minutes to see the doctor. She smiled so sweet for the nurses and doctor. This girl grew A TON these last 2 months. She went from being in the 75th percentile for height to the 95th! She is 26" long and 16 lbs (also the 95th percentile).
Addie Mae loves to smile, coo, play on her activity mat, and to snuggle. She love people, she talks and giggles when you talk to her. She smiles so sweet and even smiles with her eyes. She sleeps great at night usually wakes up only once to eat. He napping is getting much better too. She wakes up smiling and cooing and I just LOVE it! She isn't quite rolling over yet but she is close. She is warming up the the Exersaucer too. Her head is pretty steady and she can hold her neck when you pull her up from a laying down position.
She has been having some tummy trouble lately which is making her pretty fussy off and on. I think once she gets the pooping thing in order she will be much happier. Poor baby girl. We will get it worked out.
It's a whole new ball game taking 2 kids to the doctor! I thought I would be set with the double stroller. Yeah, the exam room and immunization room has to be big enough for a stroller for that to work! Harlon started out pretty well behaved. After we had to wait and wait it got closer to lunch time and then nap time. A kid can only take so much I guess. It turned ugly and Harlon showed his ugly side. We made it! Next time I won't make an appointment so close to lunch! I learned my lesson. :)
Harlon is into putting his hands on his hips lately. I have no idea where he got it but it's pretty funny. To get to our new house we have to cross a bridge. Harlon loves to point out the boats and he thinks that all of them are "Daddy's submarine." Pretty funny! He has such an active imagination and he loves it when we pretend play with him. He is such a fun kid!
