2 Months

Addie Mae turned 2 months old on Saturday!
Addie Mae is such a sweet baby girl.  She smiles so big when we talk to her and smile at her and it melts our hearts.  She loves people and to be outside, that is when she is the most content.  So far when she smiles she looks just like her Daddy with the squinty eyes.  She is making the sweetest cooing noises and I just adore it. I know I sound silly but I love to coo back at her.  Her hair is coming in more and more and since I have her in cloth diapers I have to put 6 month clothes on her.  The are just right in the length.  If she was in a disposable diaper they would really be too big.  She is proving to be just like Harlon, we get her in a size, she wears it 2 times and has outgrown it!
Our girl sleeps great at night.  She usually sleeps a 4-5 hour stretch, wakes up to eat and then sleeps 2-3 more hours.  Often times I have to snuggle her in our bed to get her to sleep 3 hours in that last stretch.  Napping...well napping she is not so good at.  I am going to have to really work to keep my sanity during the day.  So far she always needs help falling asleep (she is a big pacifier baby) and when I lay her down she often times wakes right up.  I am working on getting her in her crib for naps during the day but it's hard.  My goal for a while will be one nap a day in the crib.
She does cry a lot more than her brother ever did but I think she are starting to out grow it.  The crying may be tummy problems that she are working through.  I'm guessing all that will clear up by the time 3 months rolls around.  Addie Mae is still nursing but gets her tummy full from formula.  A lot of times she doesn't want anything to do with nursing, she would rather have a bottle.  It's quicker I guess.  I am just happy that she is able to get the benefits of nursing.  Momma gets the benefit of nursing and formula feeding.  It just works the best of our family.
Harlon is busy busy busy all day long but he does love you and if he can't see you he always asks, "where's Addie Mae?"
I know he will have fun when she gets bigger and he can play with her.
