Round 2

Yeah, so the first pool had a mishap while I was carrying it to the garage so this is pool #2! 

And once again fun was had by all.  This time Mama didn't get in.  This pool is much smaller and the little swimmer would have had trouble practicing his skills with the big Mama in the pool.

He is so close to swimming.  If I could just get him to pay attention at swim lessons he would be there in no time.  He is to preoccupied with the toys on the edge of the pool. 

It's really fun to wrestle a 30 pound boy in the water while trying not to drown him.  ;)

Thank goodness for a the Coleman electric pump and a little extra head room in the garage for storage!

Working on his swimming skills!  It is so much easier these days to stay home since I am sick as a dog most of the day.  So far this pregnancy is worse as far as the sickness goes.  While I would really love to feel good I know that being sick is a good sign and means that the bun is growing and healthy.  I did have my first OB appointment last week.  When my doctor did the internal ultrasound she discovered that there wasn't a heartbeat yet and the size of the bun looked to be 6 weeks instead of the 8 weeks that they calculated based on my last period.  She told me not to worry (yeah, uh huh) and that she would do a repeat ultrasound in 2 weeks.  So I worried a little and then decided that there was nothing I could do.  The fact that I continue to be sick is a good thing and I will wait until my repeat ultrasound and hopefully have good news. 

Yeah, he is voluntarily dunking his face in the water.  Go figure.  Love this kid!
