This and That

I've decided that being successful at military life is all about living in the moment while planning/looking forward for the future.  Is that possible?  I think so.

Harlon and I were beach bums for a couple hours the other afternoon.  We checked out one of the other lagoons out at the Ko Olina Resort.  Harlon had gotten his 15 month shots (a month late) that morning so he was feeling a little punk.

This group of shots has been the worst so far.  He's definitely sore from them today.  The good part is that if I read the schedule correctly he is done having shots until Kindergarten.  That seems so far away, thank goodness!  I never really liked school but Jase did so maybe Harlon will take after his Daddy.

Harlon was sporting his new swim gear from his Aunt Sara.  The shorts are still a little big (we almost lost them a few times).  They will have to say in the dresser for a little bit longer.

I love that I can just leave the sliding glass door open in the evening and let Harlon and Buddy wander in and out.  They both love to be outside.  It's easy for me to cook dinner and keep an eye on Harlon.

Here he is giving Buddy a kiss.

Also, we just found out that my parents are coming for a visit in April!  Yahoo, we can hardly wait for more visitors.
