Just after my parents got off of a day long flight to visit us in CT we made them get in the car and drive 6 plus hours to Annapolis for the weekend. Good thing they LOVED it as much as we do. We all share the feeling that the Naval Academy is a special place that produces amazing adults.
They recently renovated the chapel on campus. I didn't see it before but it's spectacular now. I don't know about getting married there. It would look like no one attended your wedding the place is so big.
The grounds were so beautiful with all of the fall colors in full swing. Harlon loves to point at EVERYTHING these days so everyone posed except for him, of course!
Dad kept his pointer out! LOL!
Harlon sporting his "Chucky" face clearly enjoying the tour.
After our tour of the campus we headed over to the stadium to watch Navy beat Wake Forrest (that was our intention anyway).
It got COLD and started to rain off and on forcing us to buy ponchos in the first quarter. We were all convinced that it would just blow through until the second quarter DOWN POOR! No joke, I had rain in my top and pants WITH the poncho on. It was hilarious and we would have stuck it out but the baby what getting wet through his poncho as well. We hated to leave because Harlon was having so much fun in the rain and the game started to get good after half time. My parents and were thrilled to see the march on and fly over though!
Thank goodness the Hilton Garden Inn had laundry service. Here's Harlon stripped down to his onesie playing with a pretty cute baby in the mirror!
We had a pizza party in our room later on that night. Here's Nanny reading to Harlon. Harlon loves his Nanny and Bop!
