D.C. Here We Come

The day after our nasty weather in Annapolis we headed to D.C. on the Metro with gorgeous sun and blue sky.  Harlon was a trooper and we made it to quite a few of the monuments and the White House.

The grounds could have been so beautiful.  I should say they were beautiful but could have been cared for better.  The grass was mostly weeds, kind of disapointing for something I built up in my mind for so long.

Jase packing Harlon trying to bounce him to sleep.

All it took was a little milk and he was OUT!

We found this beautiful tree with leaves turning and falling outside the White House grounds.

Then this family came up to us and wanted to take a picture of their baby with our baby.  Okay, sure why not we say.  The poor little girl decided to eat a leaf and proceeded to choke on it then gag and throw up.  That's when the pictures ended and I removed my child!  Poor little thing.
