Not Me! Monday

I read Not Me! Monday on MckMama's blog every Monday and crack up!  I decided to take part this week, who know's if I will keep it up but here goes!

 A hard apple cider did not go down my gullet on Sunday afternoon while my son was down for a nap and my husband was at the bar watching football, eating chicken wings, and drinking beer.  No I did not have a football celebration of my own because I secretly wanted to be at the bar with my husband hoopin' and hollerin' even though I SO much love being at home with my little guy, not me! 

The dog bowls are off limits but it was almost empty and I really really needed to finish doing dishes so I most certainly did not let my son play in the water bowl so I could finish.  That would make all of my hard work to teach Harlon what no means for not.  I would never do that just so I could have a clean kitchen even if only for an hour, not me!  Not this girl!

Last but not least I would never knowingly let my only son eat a piece of Kleenex in the hopes that he would hate it and stop trying to reach for the box, not me!  I have already learned my lesson when I let him eat a piece of grass resulting in him liking it (totally defeting the purpose of my allwoing him to eat it) then gagging and throwing up all over my beautiful quilt.  I would NEVER let this sort of thing happen again, Not Me!
