Washington on the Brazos

We decided to have a picnic at the historic Washington on the Brazos State Park. Washington was the first capital of Texas and also where Texas gained it's independence. Yeah, it rained...so we picnicked in the truck.

We visited The Star of Texas museum after our lunch. I almost make it through the whole thing with Harlon but we had to duck out early and wait for daddy out front. THEN it cleared up! Oh well, it was a great day! And yes, the Brazos still runs muddy.
