My how time flies! For me raising kids is much like deployment or an underway. It goes fast and slow at the same time. It's the best and hardest job I will ever do.
Our girl loves all things girly and of course she still loves everything her big bubba has.
Flowers are a favorite. We go for walks regularly. Flower collecting is always on the agenda. I hope I never forget how she says flower at 18 months old. It sounds like "fasies." I love her!
She loves to give kisses. She will kiss my leg, arm, feet, lips, whatever. I haven't made her doctor appointment yet but she is a tall, strong girl. Her hair has curls at the back and is very blonde and baby fine. It's coming in pretty good now. She just cut 3 of the 4 K-9 teeth yesterday, OUCH!
Addie Mae LOVES to sing and dance both by herself and with me. She asks me to sing songs all the time and loves it when I pick her up so we can dance together.
She has many words and is starting to put 2 words together. She will say "here Momma" when she is handing me something and loves to say "hi Momma, hi Daddy, and hi Bubba." She wakes up happy and chattering most mornings. I love to listen to her. If I leave her too long for her liking she starts hollering. Ha! She is strong willed and sensitive like Harlon.
Addie Mae loves to read books and have them read to her. She has 2 favorite stuffed animals that sleep with her, monkey and doggy. She also loves playing her baby doll. She called the baby Dee Dee for a long time so that has now become her name. For a little while Dee Dee had to come with us on walks but now flower collecting has dominated. She is running now too and it is the cutest thing ever! She and Harlon are playing well together and love to make eachother laugh. After Addie Mae warms up to Daddy she LOVES to snuggle with him. I can see that Daddy is going to have a hard time putting his foot down with this girl. :)
Again, I am so blessed to be her momma! God knows just what he is doing.
