Pee Wee Soccer

Yeah, I'm not sure about this one.  I signed Harlon up for Pee-Wee Soccer through the youth sports on base.  Jase was here for this first practice a couple weeks ago so it was okay.  Addie Mae needs to be napping so she was way past DONE by the end.  Jase will miss most of the rest of the season so I am really really really not wanting to go back alone.
I'm not sure I like the approach the coaches are taking.  The "ready" stance looked like the ready stance a linebacker takes.  Then they tried to get this HUGE group of 3 and 4 years olds to practice toe taps on a ball for the next 30 minutes.  Yeah, as you can see Harlon was trying to lead the other kids astray.
Harlon is not real good at eating his full breakfast these days so by the end of practice he was loopy, tired, and hungry.
The coaches instructed us parents to get out of the field with our kid and help.  What?!  Seriously, a whole mess of kids and their parents.  That makes no sense to me at all.  I'm not sure Harlon really got anything out of it there was so much going on and so many people on the field.  We'll see how it goes.  As you can tell I am not real excited.  Kind of wishing I would have waited a year but we'll see how the rest of the season goes.  He loves being around other kids so maybe it's worth it just for that.  One of his buddies from school was there so hopefully they can be on the same team.
