We took a trip to my parents after Christmas. We were able to have Addie Mae baptized at the church where I grew up and where Harlon was baptized as well. It is such a blessing to still have a connection to this congregation even if we will never live there again. Pictures were hard with this little monster. She was SO tired before the service even started so we did our best to snap a couple of her in her dress and bonnet. We were only home one Sunday so pastor agreed to baptize Addie Mae on January 1, 2012. What a wonderful way to start a new year!
Jase's parents bought the dress for our girl. It is so beautiful, an ivory bishop smocked dress with ecru stitching. I will save it forver! The bonnet was giving to Addie Mae by her great aunt Sara. The bonnet belonged to Sara and was knitted by Sara and Jack's mother Ola. I will cherish this forever as well. It fit Addie Mae perfect and looked precious.
