After a wonderful and fun Christmas Eve dinner with friends, Santa came to our house! Jase made leg of lamb on the grill that was TO DIE FOR! We also had a ham and everyone brought a side dish and dessert. It was such a blessing to have good friends over. It really felt like Christmas in the absence of family.
The presents were out of control in our house. As usual, family blessed us and us kids way beyond what we deserve.
Harlon played Santa with me and passed out presents while baby girl got in on the action.
Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas!
We were a bit worried about the "MINE" syndrome with Harlon this year but he was great.
Our babies and all their loot!
Time to open!
Harlon wanted to play with every single gift before we opened another one and Addie Mae just sat in my lap and took it all in.
For me?!
A book about Texas!
A sea of wrapping paper was Addie Mae's first matter of business after the presents were opened.
Daddy putting together toys and Harlon with his hand in a not so nice position. BOYS!
Baby girl had a grand time with her new rose colored glasses!
It was a wonderful quiet Christmas day with my precious family. The kids played with their new toys all day. Jase and I watched A Game of Honor on Showtime and cried our eyes out. Jase made delicious chicken chili for dinner and the kids went to bed early. We talked with the family on the phone and are now realxing before we clean this mess up and head to bed.
