Harlon is 3!

Harlon Thomas, it is hard for me to even begin to explain all the ways that you bring joy to my life.  God has blessed me way beyond what I deserve when he gave you to me.  There are qualities that you get from each member of your family that make you uniquely you.  We couldn't love you more!  You are a handsome, sensitive, loving, smart, spirited, active, wonderful little boy.  I have learned more about myself in these 3 years than I have in my entire 34 years.  You challenge me daily.  I strive every moment of my life to be a better mother to you.  I want nothing more than for you to grow into a confident, caring, Godly, happy man.  I know that God has incredible things in store for you and I pray that He helps me to foster those things. 

You love to be outside, running, jumping, exploring, and playing pretend.  You want to get along with everyone you meet and I hope you never lose that.  You love books and music and are a pretty darn good dancer!  You have started to enjoy sitting down to color, or play a game or build with blocks.  Most of all you love to pretend play.  You have a wonderful imagination and that is my second favorite thing about you.  My most favorite thing about you is how much you say "I wuv you Momma" and the fact that you still want to wrap up in  your blanket and snuggle with me.  We have some hard times with Daddy being out to sea so much but I know the Lord will see us through.  You love school and do quite well unelss you are bored.  That seems to be the time when you get in trouble with the teacher.  You also love the water and I can't wait to get you into swim lessons.  You have become a bit of  a picky eater lately but we are trying to work through it.  Most of all  you make me laugh and smile and I love you more than I could ever tell you.  Happy Birthday my sweet Harlon!
