Where do I even begin! My parents offered to come take care of the kids so I could meet Jase in San Diego for 5 day. I know, I know, I have the best parents in the world. I am so blessed and thankful. It makes me tear up the think about it. This was the view to the left out our hotel window. We stayed at Sub Base Point Loma in the Navy Gateway in for $68 a night! The Navy does have it's perks. This side is the navy base and Coronodo Island.
This is the view to the right out our window. That is Point Loma on the right. It was so gorgeous. I love the ocean.
Jase and I did all kind of things and visitied friends. This is us on the boardwalk in front of the Hotel Del Cornoado. It is the oldest wood structure in the world US I believe. I felt like we were dating again except that we talked about our kids. Ha! Jase misses them so much.
Christine don't kill me but you were rockin' it! Love you! We had dinner with one of our friends from Texas. After dinner and the Chargers/Raiders game we played Just Dance on the Wii. That is my dear friend Christine and one of her boys Aiden. Bugs was rockin' it too! He even did his hair for me! Tee Hee! Love him, love all 4!
OH YES, we coaxed Jase into dancing too! I had the best time dancing too but my lovely husband took a video of me instead of a picture. And there is no way in you know what I am posting a video of me dancing! Ha!
Sea World! I haven't been there since I was 5. I LOVED Shamu!
Jase fed some sea lions. This guy was so funny. He just sat there all regal and barked at everyone to throw a fish while his friends swam all over and begged. In the picture the seagull was about to swoop up and snatch that fish right out of Jase's hand.
We went out for dinner with more friends from Texas who are stationed in San Diego. Look at those handsome men!
And beautiful ladies! It was wonderful to be out and catch up. I love these ladies.
I often feel like Navy life is so hard with Jase being at sea a lot. But when I stop to think about it we are so very blessed. In the 5 years that I have spent as a Navy wife I have met some of the best people!
Christine! I love you! Christine has become one of my dearest friends. She is the kind of friend that will celebrate happy moments in my life and not be the least bit jealous, she will let me cry and swear and vent. If we were close together she would be my happy hour partner! This kind of friend is so rare and I treasure it. This kind of friend is hard to find and I am thankful everyday.
I had such a wonderful time with my honey. It was some much needed Jase and Jamie time. I can't thank you enough mom and dad! My babies were loved and well taken care of. Harlon and Addie Mae miss their Bopa and Nanny so much! We can't wait for the holidays!

I love your blog. I love the wonderful things you said about me. I love the pics of AM and H. I love the pic of me dancing. I love the polka dot dress you were wearing, even though I could only see the very top of it, in the pic of you and Jase at Sea World. LOVE YOU GUYS!
