BBQ

These were the only pictures I got at this very cool event we went to for Jase's boat.  Back in March Jase's wardroom bid on and won a BBQ at the admirals house.  They were bidding to raise money for the submarine scholarship.  We finally hot to have the BBQ and it was well worth the wait.  There was a softball game before.  Our boys got creamed but it was fun and Jase won the homerun derby!  After we headed over to the admirals house for a fun night with food and games.  The house is very a very historic house on Pearl Harbor.  We got to tour it and hear all about the history.  The house was built in 1937.
The games were hilarious and I SO wish I would have had my camera.  They had a dunk tank, and yes Jase dunked the admiral.  I don't know if that's a good thing or not, Ha!  Some of the admirals aides even sent me home with a bottle of merlot.  I think I was the only one drinking it so they said "here ya go."  Before we left we had a change to walk down on his private dock that overlooks the USS Arizona memorial.  It was such a privilege and I will never forget it.
