After relaxing at home this morning we decided to head out for some beach time. We drove out to the north shore, grabbed some lunch and found a good beach spot. There is a great old surf town on the way to the north shore, Hale'iwa. In a spot shaded with big beautiful trees is a bunch of shrimp trucks. They serve the most delicious fresh shrimp. We enjoyed shrimp sauted in garlic and butter with rice and cole slaw. We drove out towards the northern most point on the island and happened to see a bunch of kite boarders and windsurfers so we decided to stop. It was a really windy day, perfect for kite boarding.
Addie Mae spent some time in the surf with Daddy. She is not the biggest fan of the wind but she's getting used to it the more we take her out.
Harlon didn't stop long enough for me to take a good picture. He loves the beach!
Showing Daddy some coral he found.
You wouldn't believe how many of them there were out in the water. I was amazed none of them crashed into eachother.
I always wonder what Harlon and Jase are saying to eachother when I am up on the beach with the baby. So sweet.
After she played in the surf with Daddy, I fed Addie Mae and she CRASHED!
Sweet, sleeping beach baby. :)
