Our precious Addie Mae turned 6 months old last week. We had her well baby check today. She was such a good girl. Waiting for the doctor, her brother was entertaining her so she was too busy to look at the camera. This baby girl is OFF the chart for her height and weight. Her height (28 inches) is in proportion with her weight (20lbs. 1oz.). Go girl! She is only a half inch shorter than Harlon was and 1 1/2 lbs lighter.
Harlon was saying, "Mommy, let me down. I don't want to be up here!" Okay fine, just let me get one picture! We also had Harlon looked at. I noticed that his tonsils were HUGE the other day. They touch his uvula! The doctor confirmed that hey are indeed large and that I need to record him snoring to see if there is an airway obstruction. An airway obstruction would mean he has sleep apnea in which case his tonsils will have to come out.
I haven't taken her 6 month photo yet but I will soon!
The girl can eat! She has really taken to solid food. I have been making her baby food like I did for Harlon. So far she has had rice cereal, barley cereal (if your baby has trouble pooping, give them barley cereal!), sweet potatoes, apples, bananas. I just made pears and peas for her to try next.
Ha! She is such a mess! Aren't girls supposed to be neater than boys? Harlon was such a clean eater. This baby girl is all over the place and so are her sweet potatoes! I couldn't love her more! She hates it when I wipe her face so I just let her go for it and do the clean up at the end.
