Time is flying!

It has been a whirlwind ever since we moved. We love our new house and especially our new neighborhood.  I have been trying to get us unpacked and settled little by little.  We are pretty much unpacked, it's just a matter of organizing and doing little projects like hanging curtains.  It seems like a lot has happened in the life of Addie Mae lately.
She has been having trouble napping.  She has never been a good napper but as soon as I thought we were turning a corner it got bad again.  I have a few guesses as to why.  She has been eating A TON of formula so I am trying to get her to eat some rice cereal.  She seems to like the taste but hadn't gotten the hang of swallowing until today.  She ate a bit from the spoon.  I started giving it to her in her bottle today too.  I think that will help.  Harlon was the same way at 4 months but I was too scared to stray from what the doctor told me to do. Now I know that you do what you have to do.  I have big, hungry babies and this is what I have to do.  We'll see how she is in a few days on the rice cereal.  This afternoon went well.
These pictures crack me up, she looks scared like "what are you doing to me momma?"
She also found her feet today!  She found her tongue recently too and is ALWAYS sticking it out.  It's precious, but I haven't gotten a picture yet.
She is about to roll over as well, she gets to her side with one leg over and stops.  On top of all that she is really starting to grab and manipulate toys on her activity mat and exersaucer.  So...my crazy theory is that ALL of those new things or milestones have probably been causing some of her napping problems.  I remember that Harlon always acted a little out of sorts right before and right after he was about to do something big.  I am also figuring out how to get her to sleep and that is helping A LOT!
Aside from unpacking and settling in we have been getting to know our neighborhood.  There is a great playground within walking distance and there are always lots of kids and moms there.  Our garage faces an alley.  Kids and parents pretty much hang out there to play and visit in the evenings.  It's great, everyone watches out for everyones elses kids.  We are loving it!  We also have a pool on the island.  Harlon and Jase swam for a while this weekend.  Addie Mae had her first swim only I didn't get a picture (I'm kicking myself) because I was trying to keep Harlon from jumping in.  Jase even dunked her.  Yay, another water baby!  I need to slow down and get some picture around the island because it is beautiful here.
