We took Harlon into town for an Easter egg hunt on base. It was INSANE! There were a billion kids Harlons age all competing for a few eggs in a tiny sectioned off area of a field. The director asked parents NOT to go in with their kids. Yeah right! These silly parents bumb rushed the eggs for their kids and grabbed like 30 eggs at a time. Needless to say, Harlon didn't even get one egg. He didn't seem to care.
He has WAY more fun playing in the splash park that was closed. Ha! He was so beat red in the face (he takes after his Momma and Nanny) from running around it in the heat. He had a great time! We vowed that he WOULD get an Easter egg hunt, even if we had to do it.
