Harlon and I took our first weekend in Washington to visit with some friends. Sarah and I were college roommates. It's crazy that years have passed, we are still friends and now have families of our own. Katie and Harlon had a great time together (torturing Sarah's cats mostly). We wish we lived closer!
Harlon was teething on that metal Kazoo! Sorry Sarah, we will send you a new one. :)

The kids are only 9 days apart in age as Katie arrived 5 weeks early. They were aware of each other but didn't play very much together. There were a few sweet moments of kisses, hugs, and sharing though. Precious!

And if left to their own devices for too long....a lot of fun in the dirt. The difference between boys and girls when playing in the dirt. Harlon digs like a dog, flings and throws the dirt. Katie sits nicely, digging and putting dirt in on her dress and legs. :)

They were supposed to be 5 weeks apart in age, but ended up only 9 days apart due to Katie being early and Harlon a bit late:) It was a joy having you both here with us for a couple days!
