Sometimes packing up the fam and heading to the beach is not very relaxing. I love being at the beach but getting there is another story. So...our new redneck pool in the side yard! Harlon was occupied and having a ball for at least an hour while I lounged in there with him. And I got to actually carry on a conversation with my hubby as neither of us were chasing a toddler around.
Costco, of course!
I feel like H will figure out this swimming thing before too long. He's getting his balance in the water now. He can usually get his feet under him and stand up after he loses his balance.
Saturday was pool day. We also took Buddy out for a much needed game of fetch.
Sunday was a much needed day around the house. Jase slept in after a hectic work week with very little sleep. Then Harlon went down for a 3 1/2 hour nap! I made a big breakfast. My washing maching is STILL broken so the laundry piled up! Jase washed his Harley then we grilled steak and had a delicious salad. I will post the recipe next, it was too good not to share!
And we did our movie night as well. It was G Force which was intended for Harlon but he is still a bit to young to really watch. He lasted longer than I thought he would.
