Climbing

We discovered a playground up the hill from our house.  The other day Harlon and I decided to check it out.  It was clean and not crowded at all!
Harlon climbed, splashed (it has just rained) and played until his hearts content.  Well maybe not until his hearts content but until he dirtied his diaper and we had to go home, HA!
We live almost at the top of a pretty darn steep hill and can see straight to the ocean from our house as well as the playground.  This is the view I enjoyed while watching Harlon play and explore.  Pretty nice huh?
Learning to walk has opened up a whole new world to this big guy.  Following walking was climbing, marching, spinning, and soon to be jumping.
He's pretty pleased with himself and want's to be independent almost all of the time. He still likes mama to put him to bed.  I guess I can handle it, HA!
I love that I can stay at home with our little guy.  We're such pals and I think he's going to be quite a good little helper.  I've started letting him stand on a chair in the kitchen when I cook dinner and he really digs it.  So cute!

Yay you're back and posting lots!!!! Yippee! I love to read your blog.

My oldest cousin has five kids and she was telling me how much her and her kids are pals, and that's what I thought of when reading this post. I know I need friends, but oh how I love my kids company :)

one more thing...your pictures are much better than mine...do you do anything to them? If so, I need to get with the program! What kind of camera are you using?
