Playgrounds and Pineapples!

Harlon and I have had such a fun week with friends!  First we met Jake and Lori at the awesome Tot Lot in their neighborhood (yet another benefit of base housing).  We walked from Lori's house to the playground and let the boys play play play.  This playground is fenced in so Lori and I could sit back and solve the world's problems while the boys did their thing.

This was Harlon's first go around on a jungle gym and he loved it!  He fell a lot but had a great time.  The world is such a fascinating place.

Jake is a pro at the playground so he was showing Harlon the ropes.

Jake patrolling the perimeter, keeping us safe.  So cute!

And now for my first attempt at the slide.  I think I will just bite the bullet and go down head first!  What do you think mama?!

Okay, maybe feet first is a better plan.

Seriously people?  Y'all are just silly!  Of the many faces of Harlon I think this one is my favorite.

Yippee!

Later in the week Lori and I decided to take the boys to the Dole Pineapple Plantation.  We ate lunch and of course Dole Whip and took the boys on the train through the plantation.  It was so much fun and so exhausting.  Between laughing at ourselves and our boys until we were weak and keeping to two of them occupied we were exhausted at the end!

Me trying to occupy Harlon until the train started moving.

And Lori occupying Jake.

Slowly becoming buddies!

Here we go!

Harlon's favorite saying lately is "Oh WOW!"

Lovin' the train ride!
