Lord, help us!

I'm not sure how this happened but our child is a poser! Ha! He definitely didn't get it from his momma, or daddy! Okay, my husband does think it's really funny to get in the back of random peoples pictures when we're out in public in large crowds. Ha! This may very well be my last post until we get to Hawaii. Things are winding down and as usual this move snuck up on us. All of the sudden we looked at the calendar and realized that we had only 2 weeks left before the movers come! That means we have to get our vehicles shipped and everything ready to travel. CRAZY! The move doesn't get to Jase much but it makes me crazy! I SO don't want to move AGAIN but at the same time I am ready to be in Hawaii for 3 or more years. Texas felt like home, sort of permanent and I hope Hawaii feels that way as well. We've had some last minutes snags in the plans. The Mustang is in the shop getting a new oil pan because it has a hole in it (not sure how that happened) and the new bigger truck that we were buying is not yet ours (long, very annoying story). The summer in Connecticut was pretty nice. There are some nice little beach towns along the coast that make this place the perfect vacation spot for New Englanders. The fall was beautiful with all the leaves changing color on the trees. Some trees looked like they were on fire when the sun hit them just right. It was spectacular. Now that the leaves have fallen it is ugly as ugly gets. We did come across some diamonds in rough. We LOVE Harlon's Kindermusik class, the teacher is great! His little swim class is wonderful and way beyond my expectations for little ones in the water. Buddy loved his vet, this is the first time since Texas that he hasn't growled or snapped at the doctor. We will miss all of those things. But island life is waiting for us! And we are waiting for island life! Yahoo!
