Ugh! Sleep!

Who knew sleep could be so stressful! Harlon has had 2 colds in a month (yuck) and ever since the first one he has been waking up in the middle of the night. Sometimes he's angry and sometimes he just wants to have a party. After an hour or so of crying (both him and me) trying to get back to sleep I feed him a bottle and he SUCKS it down in no time! Hmmm, I say to myself "maybe he's not getting enough solids during the day." Jase was sweet enough to get up and slug it out with me that night and helped me calmly come to that conclusion. I'm much more sane when there is someone else up with me at 2am, ha!

The kid will not eat veggies like I've said before. So....Harlon got his first fried egg Sunday morning and he LOVED it! It was only the yolk since the last pediatrition (we've had several, there's government health care for ya!) told us only yolk until 1 year. I didn't ask why.

I don't wan't to jinx myself but yesterday Harlon ate 3 meals, 1 snack and 4 bottles and he slept through the night! Now I regret typing that, HA!

Not one of my finer moments, letting my son eat some Kleenex. :D Boys!

I've read that it is best to only give the yolk too. There are stronger and more frequent allergic reactions to egg whites compared to the yolks.

I've heard that too, about the eggs...I of course heard that AFTER I fed Jake whole scrambled eggs...whatever...no adverse effects!
