Clap your hands!

We've been trying to teach Harlon to clap his hands for a few weeks now. Tonight, somewhere outside of Baltimore, MD in a hotel room he got it! He only makes the actually clapping noise every once in a while but he's got the motions.
Our road trip has gone smooth with the exception of a visit to the vet in Memphis. Buddy is fine, just more problems with his immune system. We'll make it to Groton tomorrow and hope to check in and be in our house soon. We left our house on the 1st. The packers took a day longer than expected and the movers didn't show until 4:30pm when they were supposed to be at the house at 9:30am. They finished a bit before 12:00am. We stayed in a hotel in town that night, cleaned the next morning and were on the road by noon. We stayed that night in East Texas with Jase's cousin Jana and her family. Harlon had a great time watching Alyssa go go go! That lil' bit goes non stop! We were so thrilled to finally spend some time with them even if it wasn't enough. Aunt Vicki and Uncle Bob made us a delicious steak dinner and breakfast. The next day we made it to Memphis, over 400 miles that day. Harlon is a serious road warrior! In Memphis we ate some BBQ, not all that impressed. I think we are BBQ snobs now! On the 3rd we drove from Memphis to Knoxville, another long day around 380 miles. We got to Roanoke, VA on the 4th had a great dinner downtown and crashed in the luxury of the Sheraton that night. Tonight we're outside Baltimore, MD and we'll make it to Groton tomorrow. We've been terrible about taking pictures but we'll keep y'all posted once we get to Groton. Jase and I already miss the Texas sun and heat (and BBQ). It was 65 most of the day today. We've seen a 40 degree drop in temperature since we left Texas.
