Harlon in the Bluebonnets
We took Harlon out this afternoon while our house was being shown to get some pictures of just him in the bluebonnets. While he only looked at the camera one time I still think the pictures are sweet. He just stared and grabbed at the flowers. He's smiling in the third picture but once again looking down so you can't really tell. He's been feeling kind of under the weather today maybe teething and a bit of a snotty nose (do they go hand in hand?). Maybe all the pollen in the bluebonnet field put him over the edge. It made me feel pretty out of it, they are kind of potent. We also went to the Harley store so Jase could pick up a part to put his new exhaust on and then home. Upon pulling into our driveway and raising up the garage door we discoverd that the realtor that showed the house locked our inside garage door that is NEVER locked. So... we were locked out. What fun. Harlon was due to eat so I called the showing realtor and left a message, but never got a call back. Our kind and wonderful realtor Ken ended up driving to the house and letting us in via the lock box. Yay Ken! The whole reason for telling this story is this...you know how Realtors leave their card on the counter when they show a house? What do we find on the counter but Margie's card...on the front, "Margie Holds the Key," on the back, "Call her to unlock the door!" Seriously Margie, you could have called us back to unlock the freakin' door! Thank goodness for our new beer fridge (thanks mom and dad) because we opened a couple lawn chairs and enjoyed a cold beer while waiting to be let in.
