Spring in Texas

Spring in Texas is so beautiful. Fields and roadsides are filled with wild flowers. Everywhere you drive you see these gorgeous bluebonnets blooming. It's starting to warm up and these flowers just make you smile. That is until the pollen gets your allergies flaring and you are practically cross eyed. It's so worth it though. We drove to Independence where Baylor College was first founded and took pictures in the flowers.

My dear friend Christine and I forced our families to humor us by taking pictures.



We couldn't get Harlon to look up. He was fixated on the flowers. Still a cute picture.
