Well, the deadline has come and gone and we've decided to extend our career in the Navy. The importance of service and the ability to raise our son in some very cool places helped us to make our decision. We will head to Groton, Conneticut for SOAC (Submarine Officers Advanced Coarse) in July for 5 months. There Jase will endure training for his Department Head Tour. He will either be the Weapons Officer or the Navigation Officer of the boat in which he is assigned. After that we are off to our next duty station. We should find out where our next home port is sometime in February. Big things to come!
