In an attempt to fix a yard drainage problem I dug a dry creek bed, BY MYSELF! 
After I built up and filled the flower bed, it actually did improve the situation.
The other flower bed got a face lift as well. It took me just over a week. So...if you need my landscaping skills, just call! Just kidding my own property is PLENTY!
