All loaded up and headed for Texas!
Jase has a fasination with "Big Foot." 
We had to sedate him, but Buddy did very well on the road trip.
The end of many long days on the road.
Finally! We made it to our new home!
Our trip began in Bremerton. We stopped the first night in Vancouver, WA for a visit with Jase's Aunt Sara. We had a great visit with her on our way out of town. As soon as Buddy saw Sara's cat Snickerdoodle he tucked his tail and went the other direction. Who would have thought that a 91lb dog would be afraid of a tiny little cat.
We drove the coast all the way through California. Highway 101 through California was absolutely beautiful. Lots of places to pull over and camp or just enjoy the peacful one lane roads that run along the water for miles and miles.
The parts in the middle were kind of a blur as Jamie slept most of the way. We were about 40 miles from Vegas when our trailer blew a tire. We were right in the middle of the Mohave desert with a temp of 120 degrees. We pulled off at the nearest exit, Jase put the spare from the Mustang on the trailer and we made it to Vegas. Our trailer was repaired while we rode down the strip on the bike. We ate the best meal of our lives at Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill, got a good night sleep and were on the road in the morning. We both vowed that we would come back to Vegas one more time before we have kids.
We tried to see Hoover Dam but couldn't with our truck and trailer. At this point we had been on the road long enough and decided to skip the Grand Canyon this time as well. We stayed a night in Ft. Sumner, New Mexico with Jase's childhood barber Wild Bill. Bill took us to see the grave of Billy the Kid and we heard many a story from him that night.
After Ft. Sumner we pretty much drove straight through to Jase's parents house in Dripping Springs then on to College Station to finalize the sale of our new house. Wow! What a drive. We had a great time but neither of us wanted to be in a car again for a very long time!
